Focus on the urgent need to reorganize food systems toward re-localization, decarbonization and protection of biodiversity and suggestions of what we can do to contribute
Food and Health 
The food we eat interacts with our body contributing to its better functioning. Nutrients allow our cells to perform properly: what we decide to eat is essential to our health, contributing together with an active lifestyle, to prevent chronic diseases
Food and Taste 
We eat what we like. Taste is a chemical sense providing information about the nutrients we need but also about potentially harmful substances before they enter our body
Food and Senses + tasting workshop
Introduction to Sensory Analysis with an overview on the different factors that influence the way consumers perceive the appearance, aroma, taste and texture of food

Carlo Petrini, founder of Slow Food and President of the University of Gastronomic Sciences, will conclude the seminar with some thoughts on food, climate change and biodiversity.
